In game theory terms, escalation is win/neutral.

Not escalating is lose/neutral.

Let me explain:

If you assume she is interested, at worst she is not, or will not for whatever reason which may or may not be germane to the moment at hand.  At best you get laid.

Assuming she is NOT interested sexually means you don't get any at all, whether she is interested or not.

The only exception to this is women playing the rapo game.  That's not all that common, and fairly easy to avoid with careful attention to her body language and her reputation.  Having a "slutty" reputation is fine, but if you hear a women is "cock tease" you attempt to engage her sexually at your own peril.

My experience is, the points in that article are usually true.  I have had a few women get all pissy and act like they were surprised that just because they came back to my place at bar time and started making out with me that I assumed they were interested in sex.  But most of the times that I have escallated in isolation, it ended in sex.

You can be sure that if you don't escalate, you won't get laid.  And it is a good screening tool.  If they won't fuck you, the quick way to find out is to try. 

Just remember, if you get resistance, pull back and try again more slowly.  Otherwise it will turn into a struggle, it won't get you laid, and you could get charged with rape or attempted rape .
